UrbanPromise Affiliates in Malawi
Through a partnership with the African Bible College in Lilongwe, the capital city of Malawi, UrbanPromise International has launched 5 ministries in Malawi. Graduates of the African Bible College have been selected and invited to participate in fellowships with UrbanPromise International and after a year of interning and learning about leadership and NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) development, they returned to initiate new ministries based on the UrbanPromise Model. Collectively, they reach approximately 500 children and teens through camps, after school programs, sports leagues, teen leadership training, HIV/Aids Awareness, and feeding programs.
