My name is Mawu. When I grow up, I want to be a Medical Doctor, because I want to treat the sick and give medical advice to the well.

I live in a community that lacks safe drinking water, electricity, good health centers, and has many low-income families. I live with my Mother.

Washing the dirty dishes in our house, getting my bath water, after which I go to school. There is no means of having breakfast at home so I go to school onempty stomach. On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, I attend an Afterschool Program (CELDI-Liberia) for struggling kids like me. At CELDI, I have the chance to eat a bowl of rice, learn in a friendly environment, and play with children from other backgrounds. After I leave school or CELDI’s program, I clean my uniform and help my sister to prepare our household meal. I laterstudy my lessons, take my bath, and go to bed.

Pray for me to get a sponsor who will cater to my education, and for provision of feeding, and clothing.
