My name is Promise Akankwasa. I am 12years old. My birthday is October 29th. My position in class was 6th out f 25 students in class.

I live in Mironzi-a rural Village in south-western part of Uganda. Mironzi - is a trading centre where we go for buying things like books, pens, and pencils. I sleep in a house thatched with iron sheets. Most of the houses surrounding our house are temporary houses.
I wake up early in the morning and get ready for school. At school, I play football during play time with my friends and siblings. At around 2pm, I eat lunch and after lunch I walk 3kilometers to go get water for cooking and drinking. I live with both my mother and 5 siblings.

Pray for my family to have good shelter-like a house that does not leak when it rains. I need school fees to stay in school. I need a school uniform and books, pens and pencils to do well in class. Â
