My name is Vellina. I am the 5th born in a family of 6 children. The 1st and 2nd born are ladies and they got married. The 3rd born is a lady as well and she is a student at DMI University. The 4th child is a boy who passed his grade 12 exams and was selected to go to the University of Livingstonia which he never did due to the lack of fees. The last born is in grade 2 of primary school. My mother does nothing for a living. I want to be a doctor after I am done with school because I want to help out people who face challenges with different sicknesses and diseases.
I wake up at 5:00 am, I clean the plates, sweep in and around the house, I take a bath and then I go to school on school days. At the end of each day, I study 1 or 2 subjects.
My prayer request is that God blesses my family and give my mother long life and that I should accomplish my dreams and desires. I also pray that my brother finds fees for the completion of his school. I also need a person who can pay for my fees. I don’t want to be like my two sisters who got married because they couldn’t proceed with education as they lacked fees. My grade 10 fees was paid by my uncle who finds it hard to do so because he has his own kids to take care of and the same applies to my sister.
