Yamba Childcare
Keneth Ndyamuhaki is the Founder & Executive Director of Yamba Childcare - a small but thriving Non-profit organization in Uganda. He was fellow at Urbanpromise international from 2016 until July 2018. Before, he joined UPI, he worked for Compassion International Child Sponsorship program for many years.
Born and raised in poverty, and later orphaned, growing up was not an easy experience. His poor background could not have let him acquire the education he needed had it not been because of a Good Samaritan/ a“sponsor” who paid for his education through Compassion International.
He completed his master's degree in Organizational Leadership at Eastern University PA in 2018. As a missionary student he also trained in Christian ministry leadership by participating in the After-School program model of UPI.
He is an alumni of Uganda Christian University, with a bachelors degree in Social Work and Social Administration and a product of Compassion International Leadership program (LDP).
He later returned back Uganda to give back to community and to provide leadership and capacity to build his ministry. Yamba Childcare supports over 100 vulnerable children of his community. Yamba Childcare exits to empower orphans and other vulnerable children with Education, Social emotional Support, Healthcare and Spiritual Growth for Holistic child Development.
Keneth envisions to see "A world where Children and Youth are empowered ending the vicious cycle of poverty in their families and communities"
