My name is Junior. My name is Junior Madalitso.
I live in a village that has one hospital. Most of the houses are iron roofed with a cement floor. My house has an iron roof with a cement floor and wooden windows.
Our market is a thirty minute walk from my house. It has many kinds of goods such as clothes, food, and shoes. Most people grow corn which is our staple food. In my village, many boys and girls drop out of school because of lack of school supplies. Girls get married early and become teen mothers.
I live with Dad and one Brother. My mother died on September 13, 2023. I wake up at 4:00am, sweep, cook porridge and go to school. I go to Madisi Primary School. I want to be a doctor. After school, I go to Rise Malawi. When I get home, I play and clean dishes. I go to bed at 9:00 pm. I sleep on a mat.
