My name is Enerst.
I live in a village that has one hospital. Most of the houses are iron roofed with a mud floor. My house has an iron roof with a mud floor and brick windows. Our market is a forty minute walk from my house. It has many kinds of goods such as clothes, cassava and fresh corn.
Most people grow corn which is our staple food. In my village, many boys and girls drop out of school because of lack of school supplies and pregnancy. Girls get married early and become teen mothers.
I live with Dad, Step-Mum, 1 Brother and one Sister.
I wake up at 5:00am, sweep, draw water and go to school. I go to Madisi Primary School. I want to be an accountant. After school, I go to Rise Malawi. When I get home, I read and clean dishes. I go to bed at 8:00 pm. I sleep on a mat.
