My name is Anold. I live in a village that has no hospital. Most of the houses are iron roofed with a mud floor. My house has an iron roof with a mud floor and wooden windows. Our market is a thirty minute walk from my house. It has many kinds of goods such as basins, food, exercise books and shoes. Most people grow corn which is our staple food. In my village, many boys and girls drop out of school because of lack of school supplies. Girls get married early and become teen mothers.

I wake up at 4:00am, sweep, cook porridge and go to school. I go to Madisi Primary School. I want to be a soldier. After school, I go to Rise Malawi. When I get home, I play and read. I go to bed at 8:00 pm. I sleep on a mat.
