Student Profile

I am Vincent Mwampita. I am the first born in the family of three. I live at Chigombe village with my parents. When I grow up I would like to be a medical doctor.

My village is predominantly thatched up with grass and most people they prepare and sell alcohol. It is so rare to find a boy like me attending school because more young people drop out of school due to lack of positive role models.

I wake up in the morning to go to the well to fetch water since we do not have a tap water. Then I take a bath preparing to go to school. After taking a breakfast, I leave for a school. I spend the most of my day at school. I return home from school around 4:30 in the evening.
