My name is Brenda. I am 13 years old. My birthday is 11 May. I am in grade 5 at School. When I grow up I want to be a teacher, because I want others to know the importance of school.
My favorite Subject in School is English. I live in a small village that is over populated. People depend on farming and small scale business. I live with my mother, sister and brothers.
I wake up at 5am, wash plates, cook, fetch water and then prepare for school. After school, I go to Voices Awake where we eat, learn and play. In the evening, I do more chores and cook dinner, then sleep.
