My name is Grace and I am 12 years old. My birthday is 26 April. I am in grade 5 at School. When I grow up I want to be a teacher, because I want to be able to change the lives of children just as my Voices Awake aunties.
A typical day for me looks like waking up at 6 AM, washing last nights dishes, then I take a bath after I eat if there is food at home and then I leave for school. After school, I go to Voices Awake Afterschool program where I eat lunch and get tutored. Then I go home to cook for the family.
Favorite Subject in School: Chichewa
I live in a big village with many grass thatched mud houses but our house has a tin roof.
I live with my mum and siblings my dad passed away when I was really young.
