What is UPromise100?

UPromise100 is a fundraising program that seeks to recruit 1000 people to support female focused programs at $100 per year.
The $100,000 raised annually will be used to fund UrbanPromise International programs that seek to support, educate, empower, protect and care for girls and female teenagers.
Many girls in developing countries face challenges of poor access to education, inadequate health care, early marriage and motherhood, domestic violence, and a lack of employment opportunities.

UPromise100 seeks to fund organizations that address these issues and positively impact the lives of girls and young women in their communities.

Why focus on girls programs?

“If we are going to see real development in the world,

then our best investment is women.”
